Fort Henry at Kingston

Adventurers Dive Log: Fort Henry at Kingston

Fort Henry was built in the 1830's to protect Kingston and the entrance to the Rideau Canal. This fully restored piece of history provides a window to a time when Brittania ruled over a far flung empire. The bright red tunics worn by the Fort Henry guard are original designs of the times.

The sunset ceremony is spectacular and should not be missed.

Tours are availible during the summer and fall and recently the courtyard has been used as an ice rink during the winter.
This experrience alone is worth the trip to Kingston.
